He bounced, *boing-boing-boing*, through the soft grass to Wise Koala Koko, who was always napping peacefully in the tallest gum tree. “Koko, Koko!” he whispered. Koko slowly opened one sleepy eye. “Oh, Magical Squirrel, what brings you to my sleepy perch?” Magical Squirrel explained about the sad Glow Worms. Koko blinked. “Hmm,” she hummed. “They need Sun-kissed Dewdrops from the Whispering Willow. Only these can recharge their glow!”
Magical Squirrel nodded. He knew the Whispering Willow was across the tricky Shimmering Stream. “Thank you, Koko!” He set off, his little acorn pouch bouncing. Along the way, he met a friendly Kookaburra singing a happy song. “Where are you hopping, Magical Squirrel?” chirped the bird. “To help the Glimmer-Glow Worms!” he replied. Further on, a shy Platypus poked its beak out of the water. “Hello, friend!” called Magical Squirrel with a wave. The Platypus gave a tiny bubble-filled smile.
Soon, he reached the Shimmering Stream. It was wider than he remembered! “This calls for a super-duper, sky-high leap!” he decided. He took a deep breath, wiggled his toes, and *WHOOSH!* He made the most magnificent, glittering leap, landing safely on the other side. His heart thumped with excitement!
He quickly found the Whispering Willow, its leaves rustling soft secrets. On its long, hanging branches, clear, sparkling dew drops shimmered like tiny jewels. Gently, carefully, Magical Squirrel collected the Sun-kissed Dewdrops in his acorn pouch.
A Brilliant Act of Kindness
Magical Squirrel hopped all the way back to the Lumina Lily Lagoon, his pouch now heavy with the magical dewdrops. The Glimmer-Glow Worms were still huddled together, very dim. “Look what I found!” he announced softly. One by one, he gently dabbed a Sun-kissed Dewdrop onto each Glow Worm. As the dew touched them, a tiny spark flickered, then grew! Emeralds shone, sapphires gleamed, and soon the Glow Worms were twinkling brighter than ever before! They zoomed and twirled with joy, filling the lagoon with their happy, vibrant light. “Thank you, Magical Squirrel!” they cheered, their voices like tiny, happy bells.
Magical Squirrel smiled, his heart feeling warm and bubbly. He realized that when he helped his friends, his own light felt brighter too.
